James McLaughlin has been a member of the firm since 1980. He received his law degree from Suffolk University Law School and also has a Master's Degree in Taxation from Boston University. Mr. McLaughlin has served as law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Probate Courts and as Assistant Clerk for the Norfolk Probate and Family Court. His areas of specialization are domestic relations, tax and estate planning and real estate. He has lectured on Estate Planning for several years for Massachusetts Legal Education, taught Domestic Relations Law in the Paralegal Program at Bentley College, and is a member of the Massachusetts Probate & Family Inn of Court.
