Caren Z. Schindel joined the firm as a principal in 2008. She has been in private practice for more than twenty years. Ms. Schindel received a law degree from the Buffalo Law School in 1982 and a Master's Degree in Taxation from Boston University in 2008. Ms. Schindel concentrates her practice in the areas of domestic relations, probate, tax and estate planning. She represents clients in divorce, custody, modification, removal and contempt actions. Many of her cases involve complex financial, tax and inheritance issues. She prepares estate planning documents, including reciprocal wills, revocable trusts, marital deduction and credit shelter trusts, health care proxies, durable powers of attorney and living wills. Ms. Schindel treats each client as if that client were her favorite client. Clients praise her patient, attention to detail, thoughtfulness and thoroughness. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Family Law Section, the Boston Estate Planning Council and Business Networking, International ("BNI").
